Amanda and Patrick King are the chefs behind the Country Squire Food Truck. Partners in business and in life, these two met working in the culinary scene in Portland, where they honed their craft in some of the city’s finest kitchens. Their relocation to Tillamook brought them closer to the activities they love–fishing, foraging, and exploring the outdoors.
It also allowed them the opportunity to launch their own venture with the Country Squire. Their goal was to bring something different to the Tillamook food scene, and they knew they wanted to incorporate fresh local food wherever possible. They’ve even started their own micro farm, with the hopes of including homegrown produce on their menu in the future.
Originally located in the Under the Big G food truck pod in Garibaldi, the Country Squire moved to downtown Tillamook in early 2025. Their new location makes them a great place to stop for a quick lunch in town; or bring your food next door to enjoy with a beverage at de Garde Brewing.
The Country Squire standard menu is refreshingly simple: choose a wrap, rice bowl, or hot sandwich with your choice of chicken, pork, or vegetables. Each option is accompanied by a side or topping that is delightfully bright and fresh, from pickled red cabbage to a crunchy broccoli slaw. Or get more adventurous with their daily specials, where the chefs showcase their culinary chops featuring cuisine from all around the world.
