Crave the Coast Month Returns to the Northern Oregon Coast This October

Crave the Coast is back — and this year, it’s bigger than ever. Presented by Visit Tillamook Coast, the 2025 event transforms from a single-day gathering into a full month of culinary celebration, spotlighting the natural bounty of the North Coast Food Trail. Throughout October, the experience stretches along the Oregon Coast from Astoria to Neskowin, inviting visitors to explore, taste and connect with the flavors of the region.

Local restaurants, markets and artisan producers will offer special “Crave Dishes” made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, while some businesses will host food-focused events along the trail. Each dish enjoyed and event attended enters participants into weekly prize drawings — and a shot at the grand prize: a two-night stay at Two Capes Lookout, a new glamping destination, plus local dining gift cards.

“Crave the Coast is a month-long invitation to explore, taste and experience what makes this region special,” said Mariah Surat, event coordinator and Visit Tillamook Coast’s Coordinator of Community and Industry Programs. “This year, we decided to make Crave the Coast a month-long event instead of a single day or weekend because it’s more feasible for restaurants and food providers to participate when visitors come to them. It’s also more experiential and immersive for attendees, allowing them to enjoy the coast in a way that feels organic and memorable.”

Crave the Coast Month is presented by Visit Tillamook Coast, in partnership with Visit Seaside, and the Cannon Beach and Astoria-Warrenton Chambers of Commerce. It’s made possible in part by a grant from the Oregon Wine Country License Plates Matching Grant Program through Travel Oregon.

To guide your Crave adventure, visitors will use Seeker, an interactive mobile-friendly platform featuring digital check-ins, photo challenges, scavenger hunts and rewards. Though it’s not an app, Seeker can be saved to your phone’s home screen for easy access, just like an app. Visit explore.tillamookcoast.com to get started.
